As a home owner, you are certainly aware that your home is probably your most valuable asset. Not only that, but it is the place where you probably spend the most time each day and each week. Having it look its best is a matter of personal pride. When we take care of your wood staining, it’s a matter of pride for us as well. When we complete a project, we want to be able to stand back and look at the end result and be happy with it. We love seeing a customer beam with joy at the sight of a job well done, and an improvement to their home that they will enjoy for years to come.

Where are the places to apply wood staining? Probably more than you realize. We really can stain anything made of oak, including:
  • Doors
  • Door frames
  • Molding
  • Windows
  • Window frames
  • Baseboards
  • Built-in bookcases
  • Benches

Wood Staining - Before & AfterOne very important feature of wood staining is that the stain is actually absorbed into the wood. This means that the original wood grain will still be very much visible; it will just be darker. The process of staining an item made of wood is very different from painting, because paint primarily sits on the surface, and only the color of the paint is visible, rather than the wood grain. For the most natural, classic look of wood, most people prefer wood staining as opposed to applying paint.

There is another wood-related procedure that we often handle: varnishing. When the stain is applied to the wood, it serves to darken and enrich the color. Varnish is different; it does not change the color of the wood at all. Rather, it provides a clear coat that protects the integrity of the wood while still allowing the beautiful color to shine through. This often goes hand-in-hand with wood staining, and we can show you exactly how this would work when we come out to do a free estimate.

Your wood staining project can be small or large – either way, it’s in good hands! Call the contractor that has done many of these projects professionally: 646-479-3717

There’s no reason for you to wonder “what if” or “how does this work” when thinking about a project of this type. If you have never had stain applied to an item made of wood in the past, it may be difficult to envision just how it will turn out. You also may be wondering, if you have all of the trim in your home stained, or all of the doors or door frames, or windows or window frames, how much will it all cost?

No need to wonder. When you call our office, we will schedule a time for one of our consultants to come out and go over all of these details with you. You may have some ideas of your own that can be incorporated, and we can also make suggestions based on the many projects like this that we have completed. We will take everything into account and give you a complete, detailed estimate – all at no charge to you, of course.

So regardless of what you are thinking about, we would love to speak with you. We are sure you will be happy with the end result!
